With group permissions of course and better yet a threshold of number of times you can tag him to avoid abuse ie X times per Y days

I hope bot tagging is implemented next, it seems like a natural thing for this bot to have, in fact the bot itself seems to think it is taggable and told a member on my forum this:

"Feel free to mention me (@AI Bot) in any thread if you need my assistance or want me to answer a question."

It doesn't work though unfortunately.

At the moment having to start an entire thread to get the bot to respond seems like overkill.

In fact, the add-on was originally created for such purposes :)

Well sure but you see how great it could be to summon the bot from any thread on the forum? Even threads that have been running for a long time.

I would love it if myself or my users that have the correct permission could be in a thread and just say "@reply bot what is the population of earth?" and get an answer.

I'm glad to see this thread and the response above that it will be implemented.

In fact, I think the @robotname is the only feature I would enable for this addon. I don't feel comfortable (yet) having anything even remotely close to an "auto-reply" and don't want my members to be able to even see that option... at least until we know they are enjoying having it be called by mentions.

So, I'm hoping to be able to enable JUST the mention feature across my entire forum, but DISABLE any of the other addon features.

That's why this feature didn't release on Tuesday as promised) It will be implemented as a separate add-on, as it goes beyond the original intent of the [021] ChatGPT Autoresponder. I do not want to make a harvester that will cause inconvenience to my customers)

Ah ok fair enough, It's just that I bought the Reply Assistant addon but I can't use it because because it seems to clash with the Anonymous Posting addon, I have installed.
