How does the add-on logic work? For example, if I disable the add-on, how will replies be displayed? Will they revert to standard messages with quoted content from the original post?
There is no data migration. When you disable the add-on, posts will be displayed in the order they were posted.

Will the quoted post be added to the messages? I am just trying to understand if this addon is changing the display or making structural changes?

And another question is it possible to convert old quotes to Nested Replies?

I am using different addon at the moment, and looking for more stable one if possible. But I don't want to lose any data during this transition.

I think the addon is not listed in your Products page. Is it compatible with the 2.3 versions? I have been using Nobita`s Post Reply addon, which I had requested to develop in first instance. But I am considering some changes if your addon is more stable. and of course we will need some imports for previous quoted messages.

Yeah, we're holding on to it for now.

Yes

The sponsor of this add-on may also be interested in supporting the update. If you're considering purchasing the add-on and contributing to the development of the data migration feature, let me know – there may be an opportunity to share the cost between both parties.

Is displaying the nested replies in the thread list optional? Can we disable/enable it?

Give me a bit of time, I will consider this change as soon as possible and let you know.
