Is there any modification to stop this as intended, and put it in a more logical format? As is, it is confusing to users.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to change this part at the moment

Version 1.3.1 has been released:

– Fix: If a pinned thread was moved to another node and a permanent redirect was set, it was impossible to unpin the redirect thread
